From wardrobe staple to wardrobe staple; Bonne Suits and Locks melt their identities together into a one-of-a-kind messenger bag. The Amsterdam-based brands both vouch for the circularity of fashion and created a new product rooted in functionality.
Locks x Bonne Suits Messenger Bag
Made from deadstock Bonne Suits that haven’t been sold due to manufacturing defects, the Locks Messenger bag combines the signature functional style of Locks with the high-quality materials of Bonne Suits, ultimately resulting in a staple piece that is one of a kind and will last a lifetime. Closing the production loop, both brands ensure sustainable practices in its highest form.
“We’re very happy to have found a partner who looks at the fashion industry in the same way. Timeless, not status-driven, for everyone and fashionable. We think it’s very special that Bonne Suits takes our core values so seriously and we hope to be a positive example for all other brands that struggle with overproduction.” – Locks
About Locks
Locks is an innovative young Amsterdam upcycling company that aims to gradually reduce waste in the fashion industry. Creating bags from ‘forgotten fabrics’, their first collection consisted of windsurf sails whilst their second collection focused on old army cloths. All fabrics are manually processed into bags by Lydie, Helmy, Aimee and Claudia in Amsterdam.
