To mark 20 Years of Lichting, the platform unveils a retrospective photo exhibition, 20 Years of Lichting – Captured by Peter Stigter, at De Hallen (Hannie Dankbaarpassage, Amsterdam), open to the public from 1 September to 9 October. Known as the ultimate Dutch debutante ball for fashion, Lichting is the stage where graduating designers make their entry into the industry, this exhibition brings together two decades of iconic Dutch fashion history through the lens of catwalk photographer Peter Stigter, who has captured every single edition since day one. Lichting is a collaboration between HTNK and Amsterdam Fashion Week. Remaining at De Hallen for a month, it offers the public an exclusive look at a comprehensive visual archive celebrating the country's fashion visionaries.

At COKO, Closet.eco hosts a full-day showroom from 12PM to 11PM, bringing together around 8 to 10 emerging independent designers across clothing, jewellery, handbags, headwear and accessories. Visitors can discover and shop the participating brands, meet the founders, and learn more about the different approaches behind their collections, from made-to-order production and upcycling to small-batch design and handcrafted pieces. Between 7PM and 8PM, the showroom's designers come together for The Unseen Runway, an immersive presentation without seats or a traditional catwalk instead, models move organically through the room and among guests, allowing the garments, jewellery, bags and accessories to be experienced from close range. From around 5PM, and continuing after the runway, the atmosphere shifts into an evening programme of drinks and a DJ, running until approximately 11PM.
