Jenneskens unveils first direct-to-consumer collection at pop-up event

Amsterdam Fashion Week has had the privilege of following Kimberley Jenneskens’ journey from the very beginning. Since her first appearance in 2018, Jenneskens has captivated audiences with her gender-neutral, tech-inspired designs, earning a reputation for innovation and inclusivity. From her debut to her first solo show in 2021, where she introduced her vision of “future wear” in what she termed “EPISODE 05,” the designer has consistently pushed the boundaries of fashion. Now, Jenneskens transitions from cultivating a tight-knit community to establishing her brand as a high-end technical sports and lifestyle label.

This upcoming launch marks a significant milestone for Jenneskens, as it is the first time the brand has produced a collection specifically for direct-to-consumer sales. Each piece, meticulously manufactured in Portugal, embodies the brand’s commitment to quality, innovation, and sustainability.

Jenneskens is a high-end technical sports and lifestyle label driven by function, durability, and performance. The new collection “Jenneskens 00-01” exemplifies these principles. Each piece is designed to be versatile, clean, and wearable by all, incorporating adaptive features like unisex fits and adjustable elements that ensure longevity and versatility. Inspired by landscapes, social changes, and body movements, the collection uses innovative technical fabrics and detailed trims to enhance performance while reinforcing the brand’s commitment to a circular economy. With multifunctional properties such as temperature regulation, breathability, and water resistance, these garments are crafted to perform in a variety of environments, from extreme conditions to everyday wear.

To celebrate the launch of the new collection, Jenneskens is hosting a pop-up event at Café Baskets, where attendees will have the first opportunity to explore the collection through an exclusive presale. This event offers a unique chance to experience the brand’s innovative approach to technical wear firsthand and to connect with the community that has been central to Jenneskens’ journey so far.

Join us at Café Baskèts on Friday the 23rd of August, 5PM – 8PM, for the official launch of Jenneskens 00-01.
