On the 5th of September, Amsterdam’s most prestigious street will be filled with fashion-forward energy as Vogue Netherlands takes center stage at Amsterdam Fashion Week. For the first time ever, Vogue Netherlands is transforming the renowned P.C. Hooftstraat into a spectacular runway and fashion celebration. “Vogue Downtown” is a vibrant, immersive experience that celebrates the new era of fashion by featuring the personalities, athletes, supermodels, and dancers who define contemporary style.
From 18:00 onwards, the boutiques along P.C. Hooftstraat will invite guests to partake in exclusive in-store events that transcend the typical shopping experience. These activations will allow attendees to engage directly with the brands, offering a rare insight into the craftsmanship and creativity that drive the fashion industry. From tailored styling advice to curated collections, each boutique will present a unique aspect of its identity, complemented by fine dining, champagne, and live music.
Participating brands include Christian Louboutin, Balenciaga, Omega, Gassan, Denham, Montblanc, Marina Rinaldi, Cybex, IRO, Elisabetta Franchi, Canada Goose, Chopard, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Hermes, Phillip Plein, Saint Laurent, Michael Kors, Filippa K, Massimo Dutti, Isabel Marant, IWC Schaffhausen, Schaap en Citroen, Panerai and Barbounia.
At 19:00, the street will transform into an open-air runway for the Vogue Fashion Parade Show. This spectacle will bring together an eclectic mix of personalities, athletes, supermodels, and dancers in a live performance that promises to be as dynamic as it is visually arresting. The event will blur the lines between fashion and street culture, offering an immersive brand experience that reflects the bold, innovative spirit of Vogue.
