Show Report | Wandler x SolidNature

Wandler debuts a collection of sculptural homeware with SolidNature. Showing at Amsterdam Fashion Week for the fifth year in a row, the brand’s new venture is on display at the PAUW Curated Space throughout September.

Renowned for its bold, architectural accessories, Wandler has teamed up with SolidNature, the boutique natural stone brand behind luxury interiors for Prada, Dior, and Jacquemus. Together, they transformed raw stone into playful yet refined objects, extending Wandler’s sculptural vision from bags to interiors. Inspired by the organic form of the humble peanut, the collaboration features hand-carved marble shelves, candle holders, bookstands, and bowls, crafted from SolidNature’s signature materials, including Hermee onyx, Verde Bullae onyx, Amarena Field marble, and Starry Night granite.

Presented at the PAUW Curated Space, the collection blurs the boundaries between design, fashion, and domestic life, inviting visitors to see everyday objects as art. The starting point was a practical challenge: how to present Wandler’s popular round-shaped bags in a luxurious yet playful way. The peanut provided the answer. Its curving, feminine silhouette and quirky proportions became both a conceptual anchor and a visual motif, inspiring the form of the homeware pieces and a novel way to display the bags.

Minty-green walls and a matching carpet set the stage, with bags perched on peanut-shaped stones. A cheeky sign warns:
“Warning: This collaboration may contain traces of peanuts.”
Each bag sports a peanut charm, just in case anyone missed the memo.

Furniture and props were curated with care, blending bespoke shelves with vintage designer couches and stacks of books like Frida Kahlo: Her Universe. The palette of mint green, caramel brown, and burgundy created a calm, luxurious backdrop—because even peanuts deserve a chic setting.

Following last year’s immersive presentation with Ward Strootman, which explored the convergence of art, design, and mindfulness, this year Wandler’s collaboration with SolidNature similarly invited visitors to experience the poetry of form, texture, and colour, transforming everyday objects into sculptural pieces. By celebrating the quirky, feminine charm of the peanut, the collection feels playful, intimate, and unmistakably Wandler.
