From the 19th till the 22nd of October, Westfield Mall of The Netherlands presents ‘Westfield Days’. A consumer experience focused on four days of inspiration and interaction, held in their live Westfield Days studio at Central Plaza. Ambassadors, professionals, and TV personalities are coming together to create a diverse program featuring interactive activities, masterclasses, and entertainment.
Westfield Days opens its doors to consumers from the 19th to the 22nd of October. During these days, there will be a plethora of consumer activities, including a live make-up masterclass by fashion and beauty guru Olcay Gulsen, thrilling real time racing against Robert Doornbos, and personalised styling advice to elevate your fashion game. Aside from the numerous activities organised throughout the four days, on Friday the 20th of October, Westfield will host two captivating fashion shows, aiming to showcase the collections of stores in the Westfield Mall of the Netherlands with the help of a diverse cast of models. Therefore, we’re excited to announce that, in collaboration with Amsterdam Fashion Week (AFW), there will be a casting taking place on the 19th of October, inviting all fashion enthusiasts to participate. One of the unique aspects of this casting is that you don’t need to be a professional model to participate. The goal is to offer everyone the complete model experience, from the backstage preparations to the grand show.
The distinguished jury members, including Chelsey Weimar (model and entrepreneur), Danie Bles (owner AFW), Duran Lantink (internationally renowned fashion designer), Sunny Jansen (PR Daily Paper), and Michiel van Maaren (casting director), will select the most promising talents. The styling for the fashion shows will be curated by Famke Mesman. Promising to showcase the latest in fashion, Mesman will utilise the newest collections of retailers located in the Westfield Mall of The Netherlands.
As an added incentive, ten lucky winners will have the incredible opportunity to walk the runway during the Westfield Mall of The Netherlands x AFW shows and continue their journey by participating in AFW Edition 2024 as models.
