Renée van Wijngaarden, the visionary founder of 1/OFF, will share her journey of creating a fashion label that honours the legacy of renowned designers by reimagining high-end vintage pieces into contemporary works of art. With a background in digital art and marketing, and roots in an entrepreneurial fashion family, Renée brings a unique perspective to the upcycle movement. Her brand, 1/OFF, is at the forefront of a fashion revolution, where sustainability meets high fashion in the most creative ways.
Joining her is Kika Buhrmann, CEO of Nespresso Netherlands, a leader whose passion for innovation and sustainability has driven Nespresso to new heights. Under her leadership, Nespresso is not only elevating the coffee experience but also championing sustainable practices across the brand. In this session, Kika will discuss Nespresso’s collaboration with 1/OFF during AFW 2024 and the brand’s commitment to sustainability, highlighting how discarded materials can be given a second life through innovative design.

Remco van der Velden, Co-Founder of Wild Animals, brings a unique blend of strategic leadership and creative vision to the table. Under his direction, Wild Animals has emerged as a brand known for pushing boundaries and setting new trends, with a strong emphasis on innovation and bold design.
Completing the panel is Ida Petersson, Co-Founder of GoodEggsAgency and former Buying Director at Browns.
