THE CLOTHES WE THROW AWAY DON’T GO AWAY
This campaign connects the City of Amsterdam’s #wearforlife initiative with 1/OFF’s identity. The images depict human silhouettes made up of worn clothing, through which nature slowly weaves its way. They illustrate how clothing becomes part of ourselves, how we build identity layer upon layer, but also create waste. Instead of a classic mountain of clothing, we present the human as a symbol: a figure composed of textiles and nature.
'Layers of Us' ART INSTALLATION
We invite you to look again. Not at a garment, but at the impact of what we leave behind. A 6-meter-high installation in the middle of the shopping area, combined with striking visuals, will help raise awareness: what’s left behind doesn’t remain without consequences. Nature and humanity are inextricably linked. Time to rethink our relationship with clothing and take action.

Fill a bag with clothes you no longer wear and drop them off at the ‘Layers of Us’ Installation

We hope to collect as many kilos of clothing as possible in 2 days and give them a new life. The clothes are carefully sorted and redistributed after the activation.
