From previous takeovers by Wandler and Love Stories to this latest transformation, the collaboration between Amsterdam Fashion Week and Hotel De L’Europe continues to flourish beyond our main event in September. Within one of the hotel’s ’t Huys rooms, AFW offers select designers the opportunity to reinterpret the AFW Suite in their own vision and at their own pace. This season, Filling Pieces brings its distinct blend of contemporary design, cultural storytelling, and craftsmanship into the heart of the historic hotel. The result is a suite that feels both familiar and renewed, where every detail reflects the brand’s mission to bridge the gap between different worlds. Visitors can experience the Filling Pieces AFW Suite until 3 November.

Step into the suite and you immediately recognise the spirit of Filling Pieces, a space shaped by connection, identity, and design that transcends categories. From the Amsterdam label’s signature neutral tones and textural materials to its considered details, the room captures the essence of the brand’s philosophy: luxury that feels grounded, personal, and inclusive. Elements of architecture and fashion merge seamlessly, echoing the brand’s ongoing dialogue between street culture and high-end craftsmanship.

Founded by Guillaume Philibert, Filling Pieces was born from a desire to bridge the gap between streetwear and luxury, accessibility and exclusivity. Over the years, that ethos has grown beyond footwear into ready-to-wear, objects, and interior collaborations, always with an emphasis on cultural dialogue and craftsmanship. The AFW Suite takeover continues this evolution, offering visitors an intimate look into the brand’s universe, one that values community as much as creativity.

With each new AFW Suite collaboration, Amsterdam Fashion Week and Hotel De L’Europe continue to blur the lines between fashion, art, and hospitality. The Filling Pieces takeover stands as a testament to Amsterdam’s creative spirit; a meeting of design and dialogue, luxury and inclusivity, housed within one of the city’s most iconic hotels.
