Denim Days presents: House of Denim – Future Heroes

On the 14th and 15th of April, the Denim Days return with its market format in De Hallen Amsterdam. The Market Edition celebrates the denim scene and its community, and allows visitors to participate in workshops, get educated by experts and buy one-of-a-kind pieces of a myriad of Dutch and international fashion brands. As a part of the Denim Days, House of Denim Foundation curated a selection of work from future denim heroes. We rounded up the designers you need to pay attention to!

Patchwork Family
With their ever-expanding number of members, Patchwork Family got a hold of deadstock denim provided by House of Denim Foundation to showcase each designer’s identity with a limited-edition denim creation. Lingerie engraved denim by Kenza Iatrides, jeans drowning in money by Marco Blazevic, and all-over flower kid prints by newly joined member Billy Jansen are some only some of the designs that will be on show. Alongside individual designs, the collective will also present Patchwork Family merch, specifically designed for the Denim Days Festival.

Muses Apparel
Muses Apparel is a fashion brand founded by Joram de Haas. Mainly focusing on reconstruction and screen printing, the designer created a ‘Ripple’ five-pocket jeans made out of House of Denim Foundation scraps, which have been molded into panels in the shape of waves. For this exclusive design, Joram also put his screen-printing skills to use and added a hand-drawn sea creature animation to compliment the waves of denim.

Sans Limite
Crossing different techniques, materials and fits, the boys behind Sans Limite have taken their mission to create limitlessly quite literally since they founded the brand. Graduating from the Jeans School and the Patta Academy, their pathway within the Dutch fashion industry is one we will be following with excitement. As for now, Sans Limite has let us know that for the Denim Days specifically, they will be moving from the darkness into light. We look forward to seeing what the brand has in store this Friday.
