Felix Meritis presents first digital fashion show FUTURE FRONT ROW on the AFW 2023 schedule

Under the realm of THE MESSYVERSE, the renowned Felix Meritis opens its doors again after a three-year hiatus and presents the first ever digital fashion show on the Amsterdam Fashion Week schedule.

Programmed as the opening event on the last day of AFW Edition 2023, THE MESSYVERSE exposes a universe that explores self-expression, diversity and identity within digital worlds. Showcasing the creative potential of digital-forward design techniques, Felix Meritis gathered the pioneers in digital fashion and set up a unique celebration of 3D garments, shown entirely on virtual models. Moreover, THE MESSYVERSE is part of a broader program and exists of a full-fledged event including THE MESSYVERSE Exhibition.

FUTURE FRONT ROW
Whilst maintaining the setting of a traditional catwalk, FUTURE FRONT ROW is a unique digital fashion show featuring entirely virtual models and highlighting the work of fashion designers that embrace, multiply and celebrate new possibilities for self-expression and authenticity. The line-up of FUTURE FRONT ROW is one that exudes international talent, and includes DressX, the Fabricant, Augmented Weaving, Orthodoxx, Code Couture, Mutani, Av0lve and Suza Voss & Harriet Blend.

THE MESSYVERSE Exhibition
Felix Meritis opens the doors to its new exhibition space with an immersive and multi-sensory exhibition. THE MESSYVERSE Exhibition showcases the work of Lu Yang, Frederik Heyman and Serwah Attafuah. Each a frontrunner in the creation of digital art, the artists explore deeply human ideas such as grief, identity and the afterlife.
