Fleuril Brings Circular Fashion to AFW26 with GO POINT

As part of Amsterdam Fashion Week 2026, Fleuril will present GO POINT, a temporary pop-up experience centred around clothing exchange, repair and the continued life of garments. Taking place on Saturday 5 September at Herengracht 178, the activation will transform the space into a contemporary laundrette, bringing a fashion-focused interpretation to the familiar setting.

On Saturday 5 September, Herengracht 178 will be transformed into a contemporary laundrette, where washing machines take on an entirely different role. Instead of laundry, they will hold a curated selection of clothing collected for the occasion. Visitors bring a piece they no longer wear — provided it is still in good, wearable condition and is not fast fashion — and exchange it for an item from the mystery selection.

The concept takes inspiration from the mystery package format, with visitors not knowing which garment they will receive until they open the package. The selection includes clothing collected specifically for the activation, as well as pieces belonging to known influencers and creators. This adds a personal element to the exchange, while highlighting the different stories and histories that clothing can carry from one wearer to the next. Alongside the clothing itself, some packages contain an additional surprise: a prize offering a year of free Fleuril.

Extending the Life of a Garment
GO POINT also places attention on what happens after a garment changes hands. Throughout the day, a seamstress will be available to make minor alterations and repairs, as well as help visitors personalise and upcycle their newly acquired pieces. Patches and other small customisations can be added to give garments a different look or help cover minor imperfections, offering another way to extend their life.

The idea of prolonging the life of clothing also connects to Fleuril’s approach to garment care. Through its Renew Technology, the brand aims to help maintain the colour and fibres of clothing, keeping favourite pieces looking and feeling their best for longer.

Together, the repair, upcycling and care elements reflect a broader shift within fashion towards considering longevity as part of how clothing is designed, worn and valued. Rather than treating garments as disposable, caring for, adapting and repairing them can offer new possibilities for pieces that might otherwise be left unworn.
