The Patchwork Family stars in Fashion For Good’s upcoming exhibition ‘What Goes Around Comes Around’

From Amsterdam Fashion Week Edition 2023 to Fashion for Good, The Patchwork Family is keeping busy. Having added brand new members just before their AFW performance in Club Church, the democratic collective doesn’t shy away from taking risks. On January 26th, the members take their fearless attitude to the Fashion For Good Museum, curating their first exhibition.

With the exhibition ‘What Goes Around Comes Around’, Fashion for Good proudly commemorates its transformative six-year odyssey in the realm of sustainable fashion. This exhibition stands as a testament to the museum’s unwavering commitment to championing circularity, and hosts a diverse array of pioneering initiatives and visionary artists who are at the forefront of catalysing transformative change within the fashion industry.

United and distinguished by the act of upcycling, the members of The Patchwork Family mesmerised the AFW audience last September. Their unique take on a fashion collective captured the attention of Fashion for Good, making them one of the talents that will exhibit their work during ‘What Goes Around Comes Around’. This exhibition marks the first opportunity to experience the creations of Salomé Jeanne (NNAEJ), Berber Struiksma, Wolter Pot, Meike van Lelyveld, Marco Blaževič, Rachel Klok and Billy Jansen (Characharaboy) up and close. Stepping beyond their well-known club scene allure, visitors will now be able to zoom in on the intricate details of their handmade creations.

Alongside The Patchwork Family, ‘What Goes Around Comes Around’ encapsulates the work of the creative duo behind Atelier Reservé, whom made its show debut at Amsterdam Fashion Week Edition 2022, as well as Dutch sustainable couture designer Ronald van der Kemp and the renown Dutch fashion brand BOTTER. Amongst many other designers, the exhibition also displays the work of innovators within the creative industry, including Living Ink and Biophilica.
